Business Analytics & Reporting Manager– Sofia

To support our growth, we are looking for a Business Analytics & Reporting Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation of regular management reports and ad-hoc business analyses to support strategic and operational decision-making.
• Organize and coordinate budgeting and financial planning activities for new products and initiatives.
• Manage deep-dive analyses of credit portfolios, customer behavior, and product profitability.
• Develop and maintain analytical and statistical forecasting models.
• Identify trends, anomalies, and optimization opportunities through large-scale data analysis.
• Build, update, and maintain a system of operational and product KPI definitions in line with business requirements and regulatory standards, based on a strong understanding of the Data Warehouse structure and content.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and timeliness by developing and implementing data quality control (QA), validation, and verification processes across multiple sources (Data Warehouse, operational systems).
• Ensure effective use of BI tools and SQL to deliver interactive reports and visualizations.
• Work closely with Risk, Finance, and IT teams.
• Manage a team of business/risk analysts and reporting specialists.

Requirements

• University degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in business/risk analytics
• Management experience.
• Strong understanding of the financial services market in Bulgaria.
• Experience in a credit institution (bank, non-banking financial institution, leasing company, fintech).
• Excellent knowledge and independent use of BI tools for reporting and dashboards.
• Advanced SQL skills, including data source reconciliation and data issue tracking.
• Solid understanding of key business and financial KPIs, including definitions and visualization best practices.
• Experience with analytical tools/languages (Python, R, Excel/Power BI) is an advantage.
• Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable business insights.
